Trader Joes Product Review (Vegan) – Chickenless Crispy Tenders

Going Vegan means you have to change the way you have eaten your whole life. And in that time you become accustomed to the way certain things may taste. Personally, I always have loved the flavor of fried breading (I know, soooo bad for you), however at Trader Joes the other day I found some Meatless Tenders! And let me tell you, these are incredible! One serving is 180 Cal and 11g of Protein. Obviously you can’t eat these frequently due to the high fat content, however, for a little chicken craving these will do the trick 🙂

To prep these you can bake or fry them, for the most accurate flavor I decided to fry these little guys. You simply heat your cast iron with 1 Tbsp. Grapeseed oil, add in the frozen tenders and cook until golden brown (approx. 5 min each side). Set them on some paper towel to drain any residual oil.

You can pair these with any meal to satiate that crispy breading craving 🙂 I added these to my Big Pleaser Caesar Salad for some added flavor!
