Ale Mary’s Royal Oak New Menu Additions! (Vegan)

Our first trip to Ale Mary’s was phenomenal to say the least, so upon hearing that they had now created Vegan Chili Dogs we were dying to go back! I was lucky enough to have a conversation with the Chef this time around. He stated that their main focus is to make vegan food taste just as good as their meat counterparts. Not only will people go to their restaurant for the amazing beer/drink selection, but they will also crave their Vegan delicacies. The Chef was also very open to any critiques or suggestions on what you may want. They aim to please 🙂

Their Vegan desserts are also going to be made by my friend Katy Genevieve! Check her out on instagram @katy_eats_out_detroit. Cheesecakes, cookies, lemon bars etc…she’s got it in the oven just for you! So check out our amazing dishes today and take a trip to Royal Oak for some Vegan Delight 🙂

We started our meal out with a Deconstructed Hot Toddy, Basil Hayden and Spanish Coffee 🙂 Not only will these drinks warm the chill from your bones, they will give you a reason to leave the house on this chilly day! The Hot Toddy allows you to mix up and create your own concoction 🙂

After this we began with their Detroit special of Vegan McClure’s Fried Pickles! They come crispy and hot with a side of Vegan Ranch to dip them in. The McClure’s pickles add  a fantastic flavor that will have you wanting another batch ASAP!

For our main entree we ordered their newest items! A Vegan SuperFood Bowl and Vegan Chili Dogs with Vegan Truffle Fries. Not only are these delicious, they are also creative. The Chef explained that these dogs will have any meat eater convinced! So give them a try and you will be happily surprised 🙂

The Vegan SuperFood Bowl consisted of Red Quinoa, Goji Berries, Blueberries, Walnuts, Cucumbers, Edamame, Avocado, Arugula and a Raspberry Vinaigrette! All of your Super Foods in one spot! Healthy and filling 🙂

After experiencing great service and having our taste buds explode, we concluded that Ale Mary’s is a great place for Vegans and Non Vegans alike 🙂 Try them out and let me know what you think!

Have a great day and healthy life, thanks for following!

  1. Is your vegan substitutes soy? You don’t specify other then that it’s vegan.

    1. The Vegan substitutes are Soy, however there are also plant based substitutes in there as well 🙂 I hope that helps! I can put you in contact directly with the manager if you have any further questions!

Do you have a lot of options that do not contain soy and do you also fry in soy or vegetable oil? I asked because I have an allergy.

    1. That is a great question! I’ll have to direct you to the restaurant specifically! is the address you can email for any of your food allergy questions!

  3. Hi! What date can we expect your vegan milkshakes? ❤️
